General Requirements

  • All visa applications are submitted to the Embassy of Japan in Copenhagen.

  • A power of attorney is needed in order to submit on applicant’s behalf.

  • Travelers will have to have the official Certificate for Testing for COVID-19 filled and attested no later than 72 hours before departure.

Document requirements

The below requirements are for nationals of Denmark applying for a visa in Copenhagen. If you are not a Danish national, additional documentation may be requested. Your DOX contact person will inform you about the process and requirements.

  • Application form

  • Passport (minimum validity 90 days)

  • Passport photo (not older than 6 months)

  • Certificate of Completion of Registration to the ERFS system
    The inviting party needs to apply for the certificate on the following website: https://entry.hco.mhlw.go.jp/

  • Power of attorney authorixing DOX to act on your/applicant’s behalf
