From November 8, 2024, to December 31, 2025, citizens of the following countried can enter China visa-free for up to 30 days: France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Malaysia, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Australia, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Republic of Korea, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia, Japan and Negara Brunei Darussalam. Biometrics

Single or Double Entry visa applicants:
Personal attendance is not required for biometric data collection.

Multiple Entry visa applicants:
You must attend an appointment at the Chinese Visa Application Service Center for biometric data collection.

Visa application process for China - Business visa

Step 1

Gather all necessary supporting documents for your visa application.
You will need to have the following ready before proceeding:

  • Passport photo

  • Copy of passport ID page

  • Letter of invitation. See template here.

  • Copy of Yellow Fever certificate

  • Copy of residence permit (front and back)

  • TE documentation (only for Turkish citizens)

Step 2

Sign in or create a profile and and fill out your application form here.
Please note you will have to upload all supporting document to the application form.

Step 3

Await confirmation from the Chinese Visa Application Service Center. The process takes 2-4 working days.
If your application is rejected, you will have to create a new application and cancel the old.

Step 4

Once you receive the confirmation letter, please send the following documents to DOX in original:

  1. Confirmation letter

  2. Original passport

  3. Last page of your application form, signed in wet ink under section 9.1A

Step 5

The DOX team will submit your application to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center and keep you updated on the expected processing time for your visa application.
